Hoobuy Spreadsheet Categories

The right first category makes the rest of the sheet easier to judge. Each product type has its own useful photos, sizing questions, and weight surprises.

Start with the item type. Choose the product type before comparing rows. Then use the same evidence standard across that group: relevant photos, usable dimensions, price context, source relevance, and likely shipping weight.

Why it works

Categories turn scrolling into comparison

A broad Hoobuy spreadsheet mixes decisions that have little in common. Category-first browsing gives every saved row a consistent test.

Which category should you start with?

Start with the item you can describe without a brand name. “A lightweight zip jacket with measured chest width” is a stronger research target than a broad trend label. If your intended item crosses categories, choose the category that determines the hardest decision: sizing for clothing, structure for bags, dimensions for accessories, or compatibility for electronics.

Begin with the kind of item you actually need—shoes, bags, watches, jackets, hoodies, or accessories. That choice tells you which measurements and photo angles matter before you open an external listing.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Opening every link before deciding what you need.
  • Using a low displayed price as the only comparison.
  • Assuming one attractive photo is a complete QC photo set.
  • Treating a source platform name as evidence of quality or seller reliability.
  • Ignoring dimensions because a familiar size label is shown.
  • Forgetting that packaging and product weight may change the total decision.

Checklist before opening external pages

  • I know which product category I am comparing.
  • I know which photos and measurements should exist for that category.
  • I have at least one similar row for context.
  • I am prepared to check the current destination, variant, and seller information myself.
  • I understand that the category link opens an independent third-party site.
